ABOUT MODERN RUSTICS
Modern Rustics was founded by Richard
Sipe to bring blend modern furniture design with
rustic materials. While furnishing their Vacation
Rental, Richard and his wife noticed a lack log
furniture with clean lines, modern apeal, and
craftsman construction. Much of the log furniture
commercially available is overly rustic and "gnarly"
in appearance and still others are crafted with
machine made pieces and held together with metal
and plastic.
The goal of Modern Rustics is to
provide customers with a resonablly priced source
for beautiful log furniture of the highest quality.
Our furniture is not only beautiful but also functional.
Our tables have natrual slate table tops that
eliminate the worries of staining, scratching,
and dirty feet., Our beds are made from large
diameter hand pealed lodgepole pine logs with
100% pine underbed supports and solid mortise
and tenon joints.
We pride ourselves in our flexibility
and quality of design and construction. Many of
our projects have been the result fo custom design
